American Society of Quality is a membership organization devoted to quality. The following standards are used to specify Quality Assurance methods that can be used for vehicle programs.

 

Standard: ASQC C1 - Specification of General Requirements for a Quality Program
Purpose: This standard provides a specification for the General requirements to be met by the quality program of a contractor or other organization. This is also an ANSI standard.

Standard: ASQC M1 - Calibration Systems
Purpose: This standard specifies General requirements for assuring the quality of calibration in accordance with established practices or objective quality control techniques. This standard delineates the requirements for systems to calibrate measuring instruments to specified accuracies. This is also an ANSI standard.
